Biography

I’m a PhD student at the Centre for Host-Microbiome Interactions in the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at King’s College London. I was driven to pursue bioinformatics following my bachelor's degree in biomedical science, where I developed a strong interest in data science. During my internship, while working on both wet lab and dry lab projects, I found the data analysis aspects very engaging, which inspired me to pursue this field further. Now, I’m diving into a project called ANIMATOR (Automated AI-based Modelling Platform for Microbiome Research). The goal is to use AI to develop tools that make it easier to analyze and understand complex microbiome data, ultimately helping us better grasp the relationships between microbes and human health. My interests span microbiome research, AI in healthcare, multiomics, interdisciplinary collaboration, and even emerging fields like quantum AI. I’m excited about how combining computational approaches with biology can unlock new insights and make a real impact on healthcare. For me, research is all about curiosity, creativity, and building tools that push boundaries.
